How to find public tenders in ChatGPT
ChatGPT is great at writing — but on its own it can't see today's live procurement notices. TenderStack fixes that: it connects a real, continuously updated public-procurement database to ChatGPT so you can ask for live tenders, contract awards and grants in plain English.
The short version
- Get a free API key at tenderstack.io/signup (your
sk_tdb_…key). - Open the TenderStack GPT in the ChatGPT GPT Store, or go straight to the TenderStack GPT.
- Paste your key when the GPT asks for it, then describe what you're looking for.
What you can ask
Because TenderStack uses semantic search, you don't need to memorise CPV or NAICS codes — describe the work in your own words and it matches on meaning, in any language:
- "Find open IT-services tenders in the Netherlands and Belgium published this month."
- "Show me below-threshold construction contracts in Germany under €200k."
- "Who has the UK NHS awarded cybersecurity contracts to since 2023, and for how much?"
- "Scout all US federal sources for zero-trust opportunities."
Why this beats copy-pasting links
A general model can summarise a tender you paste in, but it can't discover what's live today, can't rank results by fit to your business, and will happily invent a deadline or threshold if you let it. TenderStack returns real notices from official sources — TED, Find a Tender, Contracts Finder, TenderNed, BDA, oeffentlichevergabe.de, BOAMP and the US federal APIs — with AI summaries, plain-English matching tags, and who-won data where it's published. The dataset is over a million notices, refreshed every 8 hours, with history back to 2023.
Same key, more places
Your TenderStack key isn't locked to ChatGPT. The exact same key works in Claude via MCP and in the web app at app.tenderstack.io, so you can search wherever you happen to be working. Full setup details are in the documentation.
Set up a daily scout
Beyond one-off searches, you can save a profile once and ask "what's new for me?" any time — or get a daily email digest of new matching tenders. That turns ChatGPT from a search box into a standing procurement watch for your business.

Is there a ChatGPT plugin or GPT for public tenders?
Yes. The TenderStack GPT lets you search live public tenders, contract awards and grants across the EU, UK and US directly inside ChatGPT. You sign up for a free API key at tenderstack.io/signup, open the TenderStack GPT, and paste your key when prompted.
Does it cost anything to search tenders in ChatGPT?
TenderStack has a free plan with 200 actions per month. Pro is $49/month for unlimited searches and Team is $199/month for 5 seats, then $39 per extra seat. The same API key works in ChatGPT, Claude and the TenderStack web app.
Which countries can I search from ChatGPT?
All 27 EU member states via TED, the UK (Find a Tender and Contracts Finder), the Netherlands (TenderNed), Belgium (e-Procurement/BDA), Germany (oeffentlichevergabe.de), France (BOAMP), and the US (SAM.gov, Grants.gov, USASpending and more).
Can ChatGPT tell me who won a past contract?
Yes. TenderStack stores award data on closed tenders, including the winning supplier and contract value where published, so you can research incumbents and price to win from within ChatGPT.
